• Sage + Blackberry Scones

I know, it’s technically still summer. But it sure feels like fall here in Michigan. The cool temps are quite refreshing and perfect for baking. These Sage + Blackberry Scones were a real treat over the long weekend. I’m not sure about you, but I really enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a savory treat or two. Cover me up with a light blanket on the couch, and I’m content. Except, it wouldn’t last very long. Ahhh the mom life! Luckily I have a decent imagination. Anyway, I love how versatile the base dough of scones can be. The sky is the limit with what you mix in there.…

  • Easy Crunchy Egg Rolls

    Easy Crunchy Egg Rolls

Nothing fancy guys, just some extra crunchy egg rolls for you! These egg rolls are so delicious and so crunchy. I can’t stop thinking of them. Serve them with sweet chili sauce for dipping. Can’t go wrong with any of it. I make these with ground beef but they are also delicious with pork or a beef and pork mixture. Scratch the meat all together for a vegetarian option. Let me know how you like them!

  • Breakfast Bites

Try this easy, delicious and most importantly quick recipe to cover the most important meal of the day; BREAKFAST! I made these on a Sunday and they were a perfect grab and go option for my husband and I for a few days. My littlest son might have eaten one too 😉

  • Mango+Peach+Mint Sorbet

This summer treat is the easiest to make and it is so delicious. You can even make it a boozy treat if you wish, for all the adults (21+) at your party. I added a little Elderflower liquor like St-Germain to the mix, but I suspect that it would be delicious with Rum, Tequila and even Vodka.

Hi, I’m Hannah and I have a serious sweet-tooth.  I am always looking for something sweet to snack on. If you follow my food adventures on Instagram, you can see that I opt for a lot of fresh fruit to satisfy said sweet-tooth. Once in a while, however, I like to splurge… And when I splurge, I splurge real GOOD! This Galette will be as sweet as you want it to be, basically. The power is in your hands as far as its purpose. Are you making it for dessert or as a semi-sweet brunch treat? So I’ve been making this cheese mixture for years now. It is something that my Mother used…

  • Apple Turmeric Ginger Oatmeal Muffins

Here we are… Another mid-week Oatmeal Muffin post; Apple Turmeric Ginger Oatmeal Muffins… Wednesday came quite fast this week and I’m not complaining. I am looking forward to Mother’s Day this weekend and spending time with my guys and family. I sure hope we get some sunshine and warmer weather to celebrate. I decided to play around with the Oatmeal Muffin recipe I had posted last week. I know, the title is a mouthful, but wanted to make sure you all are aware of what is in these bad boys. They are so delicious, nutritious,  and are packed with spices that are beneficial to your health. I even had my…

  • Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins

    Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I had some Bob’s Red Mill Organic Gluten Free Rolled Oats that were about to expire. I couldn’t let them die… So, I whipped up these delicious Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins and 4 out of 3 people in my household, loved them. Enjoyed them this morning while sipping on my extra strong coffee. Tomorrow, I will eat them with Greek yogurt. I can also see myself eating them with a glass of cold milk while they are warm. Yumm! Let me know how you like them. I will definitely be making them again, very soon. I will also play around with the flavors. So fun! Substitute the banana with 3/4…

  • Taco Seasoning

With Cinco de Mayo fast approaching, I thought I’d share with you the recipe for the Taco Seasoning I have been using for over a year now. We all know that it is easy to pick up a taco seasoning packet at the store and throw a quick dinner together. Those packets however, may contain some iffy ingredients. To avoid those iffy ingredients, purchase your spices separately. Be sure to get organic options and make your own batch of Taco Seasoning. It will take you about 5 minutes to make a large batch that will last you a while. I use it at least once a week and a batch will…
